Common Issues & Solutions
🖼️ Image Generation Issues
Problem: AI-generated images don't match expectations
Solution: Use the "Regenerate" button to create new artwork. Each generation produces different results. You can regenerate unlimited times!
📝 Clue Quality Issues
Problem: Clues are too easy or too hard
Solution: Edit clues directly or regenerate specific clues. You can also manually adjust difficulty in the edit screen.
🖨️ Printing Problems
Problem: Cards look blurry or pixelated
Solution: Make sure you:
- Download the PNG files (not screenshots)
- Print at photo labs (not home printers)
- Turn OFF "Auto-Enhance" at the photo lab
- Select "Glossy" or "Matte" paper (not plain)
🔐 Account & Login Issues
Problem: Can't log in or forgot password
Solution: Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. Check your spam folder for the reset email. If you still have issues, contact [email protected]
📱 Mobile Usage
Problem: Website doesn't work well on mobile
Solution: While QuestMaker works on mobile, we recommend using a desktop/laptop for the best experience, especially when creating hunts. Downloading and printing are easier on desktop.
🗑️ Deleting Data
Question: How do I delete my hunts or account?
Answer:
- To delete a hunt: Go to Dashboard → Click hunt → Delete button
- To delete account: Profile → Delete Account
- All data is permanently deleted within 48 hours
- Photos are auto-deleted after 30 days anyway
