When you create scavenger hunts, we temporarily store:

Children's first names only — Used to personalize hunt cards (no last names required)

Children's ages — To generate age-appropriate clues

Theme preferences — Your selected card themes (Pokemon, Princess, etc.)

Hunt locations — Generic locations like "kitchen," "backyard" (not your address)

Custom clues — Any clues you write or edit

Uploaded Images (Temporary Only)

Critical Privacy Feature: If you upload location photos for custom card artwork, these images are:

Stored in a temporary folder only

Automatically deleted after 30 days via scheduled cleanup

Never used for any purpose other than generating your hunt cards

Never shared with third parties (except AI services for generation)

Never used for training AI models (per our API agreements)

Your hunt data (child's name, age, theme, locations) is sent to Anthropic's API
Anthropic does NOT store or use your data for training
All communication is encrypted (HTTPS)

We use Google's Gemini AI to generate themed artwork for hunt cards:

Your theme selection and custom prompts are sent to Google's API
Google does NOT use your images for model training
Generated images are stored temporarily (auto-deleted after 30 days)
